My passion for creation pushed me to be a self-taught programmer. I have gone through premium curriculums from well established institutions such as Microsoft, Google, and Facebook. Being a self-taught programmer has exposed me to a very wide range of quality material beyond common curriculums such as the use of StackOverflow to fix bugs.
Git is all about efficiency. For developers, it eliminates everything from the time wasted passing commits over a network connection to the man hours required to integrate changes in a centralized version control system. It even makes better use of junior developers by giving them a safe environment to work in.
Competition makes us faster, collaboration makes us better. I believe collaboration is important not just because its a better way to learn. The spirit of collaboration is penetrating every institution and all of our lives. Therefore, learning to collaborate is part of equipping myself for effectiveness, problem solving, innovation, and life-long learning in an ever-changing economy.
The best part about challenges and competition is that through them we discover what we are trully capable of, and just how much more we can actually do than we ever believed possible.
